Prinos in
Dasilio Prinos is operating
again after 2 years break and belongs now to the local community of Prinos
and municipality of Thassos. It has been renovated and it will be used
also for the sport and cultural activities of the local commune. In July
and August cultural activities frequently are taking place.

Camping
Prinos is situated in a little forest of pines, trees and flowers next to
the sea. It is indeed one of the most beautiful and well organized campings
in Greece.
It has about 20000
m2 with
800 m sandy
beach , 303 places
separated with bushes and trees for tents
or caravans.

Its
beach has a blue flag and the camping belongs to category A.
The camping is situated in the area of Dasilio with 4 Taverns and several
bars and beach bars. The camping is close to the Skala Prinos (800 m.)
which is the main harbor of the island and the closest to Kavala.

How
to get there.
With ferry boat from Kavala to Skala Prinos. From the ferry when you
approach Skala Prinos the east side of the camping is visible. When you
reach the harbor of Skala Prinos just turn right and drive along the
seaside. After 800 m. you will reach the entrance of Camping Prinos.
